My llittle trooper

We finally decided to have Brayden's tonsils out. I was so nervous. I had mine out 3 years ago and it was the worse thing I ever experienced. So I was worried about how Brayden was going handle the pain. But he did amazing! He wanted to show off his tiger shirt! This had was the coolest... he could hid under it! If only he knew what was coming. He was great with the nurses and sleep for hours when they brought him back. The doctor said his adenoids were very swollen and it was a good thing we took them out. His tonsils weren't bad at all but we decided while we were doing the adenoids we would do the tonsils as well. He came home a little grumpy but was in pretty good spirit. He slept a lot and feel asleep everywhere.
Someone made blankets for the kids who were in the hospital. Brayden picked out the tractor one and has carried it around all day! Thank you for whoever spent time making this beautiful blanket for my son when he was sick!!
Yesterday he was upset and broke my heart when he asked me (twice) "Mommy want my happy face" He keep crying because he could smile and make a happy face. I sure do love that kid's 'happy face'
Today he woke up hurting and grumpy and I was worried this was going to be the next couple weeks, but about 30 minutes after his medicine he came running to me and said 'Mommy look, my happy face!' This was him this afternoon. Outside with Daddy. He is so happy... no pants with his boots on and a happy face! What a little trooper I have!
