We are finally home back to our crazy schedules. I am soo grateful for my parents and their patients with me and the kids. After 11 weeks, we are HOME!! Poor kids, Brayden kept saying "Me, Dadda's house" We are thankful to have our family back under the same roof.
A quick update on the past 3 months!
Brayden
* Has changed his medication!! (finally got him off Keppra nicknamed keppra rage for good reasons)
* found an incredible help vitamin B6 (improves moods)
*Had his first night away from Mom and Dad
*Went to a neurologist in Rupert who works with natural meds
* Found what was causing his seizures... High CO2 levels in his body
* Found out his body also doesn't hold the proteins or hydration (so he is always hungry and thirsty)
* Seizures significantly decreased. he was having them every 10 days... Now he is going about 6 weeks!!!
* His speech has more than tripled... He is a talkin' machine!!
Whitney
*Had her first night away from Mom and Dad
*rolls to get whatever she wants
*loves to put toys in and out
*Learned to go from her stomach to sitting position!
*Crawls!!! (We are super proud of her)
*turns 15 months this week
* Eats all table food (pretty much)
*standing at couch for about 5 mins
* We have dropped her vision therapy because she no longer needs it!!!!
*is working on getting her first tooth
*had her first antibiotic (she pulled my straightener down on her finger and it was so red and infected I had to take her to the doctor... poor thing)
*Gets to start gymnastic classes (for physical therapy)

Where have we been?
It has been a long time since my last post. So many things have changed. I will post pictures soon!
We are still working to find the right treatment and medication to control his seizures. Right now, ever 10 days he has 3 or 4. We are hoping to find what is causing them. Me and the kids have been 'living' with my parents until we feel comfortable. I am also working with a dr here in Burley who tested Brayden's levels. He found he has really high CO2 levels, really low protein and electrolytes. He believes it is the cause of his seizures.... We have high hopes this will stop them.
Little miss Whitney turned 1 last month! She is getting so big (for her). She got some new clothes for her first birthday and we bought 3-6 month clothes. We are so proud of her she is now rolling where ever and she has started to army crawl! I can't believe how far she has come.
Patrick still has his job at ATK!!! (made it through the layoffs) He switched departments, which is better in every way. He now works for Corporate IT as a System Admin. He is excited for the change. He has been staying that the house by himself for the past few weeks. We miss him like crazy. He has been my rock through this trial. He is my everything. I only hope he knows how much I love him and miss him. Thank you babe for being so patient and loving.

Warning lots of pictures
One of the summer activities the Up to 3 program had was going to Brigham City's train station. Like an idiot I took Brayden and Whitney. We walk in and Brayden goes crazy... there are trains everywhere. A nice lady I've worked with took Whitney so I could 'deal' with Brayden. I tried to calm him down so he could see all the choo- trains. That didn't work. We ended up leaving because he was so upset because the other kids where looking at the trains he wanted.

The next week they offered free train rides. I wasn't going to take him but he was so good that day I decided he earned it. We we got there I told him if he throw a fit, we would leave. The big train pulled up and we got on the train without any fits. We past some trains and he kept asking for more trains. I had to keep telling him he was on the train. I don't think he realized he was riding a train, not just looking at trains.
Brayden has decided that he doesn't want to go to bed while the sun is still up. So at night he can be very destructive while in his room... when it gets quiet I start to worry. This is what he did to his room one nap time.... ohh this 2 year old knows how to keep me going.
Sweet story time with 'Daadddeee'
Whitney's hair is finally long enough to pull up into a pony tail. The first day I put it in 2 piggy tails Brayden ran into the room pointed at Whitney and yelled "BEEEEEE" (bumble bee). Ever since the first pony tail, Whitney's hair will not lay down so in the mornings she has Mohawk hair it just makes me laugh. And it is still very red. (this is Brayden, Whitney, and Patrick's first rodeo)
We were finally able to have the Bailey family vacation. We had lots of fun.... and sad that we missed the Tanner family. Brayden had so much fun with the cousins he keeps asking for more every time he sees a picture.

Saturday at the family reunion Brayden had his first seizer. It was scary and we didn't really know what was going on. We are so grateful to have family there to help us. I'm not sure who it was, but someone stood behind me and they had been around someone who had seizers a lot and talked me through it. I am soooo grateful for whoever that was, it really helped. After an ambulance ride, blood work, and a ct scan; we were sent home with no known cause. We were just happy to be going home. Thursday morning Brayden had another one. I called our pediatrician and he told me if he had another one to go down to Primary's ER and they would get him into a neurologist right away. Around 4 he had another one. We stayed the night at Primary's Thursday night and Friday he had more blood work, an EEG, and an MRI. That day he had 3 more seizers within 4 hours and one was during the EEG which was scary but wonderful because they were able to get the best results poosible. All test results came back normal (YEAH!!!) They are treating Brayden with epilepsy medication and so far so good. They only way to find the right medication is trial and error. We are doing pretty good, just trying to get back into the swing of normal life. Whitney was an angel through it all. She rode down to Primary's with us where my mom meet us and took Whitney. She spent the next 2 days and nights with Grandma Bailey. THANK YOU MOM you saved us. Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers.

Summer full of activities
Brayden tries so hard to be the best big brother... he even shares his favorite food (and one of the words he can say) "ap--ple." 
As you can see Whitney is getting better and better everyday with everything she does. She sits up great and is getting better with her fine motor skills. Some of her new developments include reaching for toys and looking for them after she drops them. She is even bringing toy to her mouth! She has rolled over from her back to stomach a few times and rolls from her stomach to back whenever she wants. We get so excited for the simplest progress. We meet with the geneticist and he evaluated her and put her developmentally at 7 months. She is on the right track! I can believe she is 10 months already, where did the year go? She is 12 lbs now... every where we go everyone ask how old she is then are shocked to her 10 months.
We spend father's day in Shelley. Brayden had a blast being spoiled by Grandma and Grandpa O. He stopped to pose for us. What a talent he has on the piano.
We spent the 4th of July at the cabin and at Rupert. Brayden had lots of fun at the parade. Luckily this year wasn't too hot. He really wanted a picture of the trucks.... silly kid. 
Somehow my big sis Jen got both little kids... Brooky and Whitney decided to attack at the same time. Partners in crime.
We even let Brayden stay up for the fireworks. We went to my uncles who's neighborhood had done some amazing fireworks. Brayden slept through the entire show. I guess the days events had worn him out.
Every time we go to my parents house Patrick fall asleep in this chair with one of the kids blankets. He denies it so I'm going to start posting it every time. He's Patrick with his pink blanket in his Sunday best. How can you help but love this man ;)

One morning I thought Patrick had got up with the kids but I woke up and could hear Brayden in the monitor (in Whitney's room) I went to check on them and Brayden had crawled up in the crib and put a pillow under Whitney's head, got one for himself and tucked himself into bed next to her. What cute kids. Doesn't that just melt your heart. So I found Patrick, who had got out of bed with Brayden, but crawled back in bed in the guest room and let Brayden run wild. I keep telling him that doesn't count.
The 'Up to 3' program has had a lot of family activities this summer so we have been able to do some fun things.... swimming, Story time at the zoo, fire department, family picnic, puppet shows, and the train station. We have had a good time and Brayden has loved everyone with more pictures to come.

Every time we go down to Salt Lake for another doctor's appointment we tell Brayden that we will go to the Living Planet aquarium.... well we finally went. He had a blast. He even wanted to pet the sting ray.. but I wouldn't let him ewww. We had to drag him out after an hour and a half.

July 6th was my mom's birthday. We were able to stay an extra day so we could spend the day with her. Happy Birthday Mom... We love you. (she is such a goof... singing happy birthday to herself)

We were finally able to have family pictures! I was really excited and the pictures are even of our family!! (click here if you missed the story). I'm really excited how they turned out. What have we been up to?
It has been a fun last couple of weeks. We are keeping busy.
For an eagle scout project, a kid here in Tremonton, had a baby farm animals petting zoo. Brayden loved it.

Brayden has become a pretty good climber. I found he standing on the counter licking the cookies. He is definitely a 2 year old. I've looked into Fedex shipping him off to Grandma some days. But we love him and he keeps us smiling. Speech therapy is going well. He love going to class and slowly more words are coming. Most of his vocabulary is food related... He like to eat!
Whitney is getting older and older everyday. I'd say bigger but she is now 8 months old and about 12 lbs. She has finally grown out of newborn clothes!! She is now sitting up all by herself and best of all sleeping from 7:15 pm to 6:30 am. It has been wonderful. Physical therapy is going great we are working on rolling and getting into crawling positions. The last month and a half has been fun to watch how much she is changing. She is now reaching and playing with toys and interacts with us. Her smiles and giggles are so precious. We go back down to Primary Children the end of June and beginning of July for more follow-ups. We are so blessed to have her angel spirit in our home.

Brayden lives for his "choo-choo's" One morning he was eating breakfast and put his cereal into the train, take it around the track once, then eat it. It took him about an hour to eat breakfast.
We've been waiting out some crazy storms.
And we've put our yard in... finally. It took 2 weekends. The first we had tons of help from neighbors. The next weekend everyone was gone (Memorial weekend is not a good time to need help) so Hillary and Spencer came and saved us. THANK YOU!!!!
