Merry Christmas

We started our Christmas fun at the Bailey's. We all went into Jen's gym and played games.
Jamie and Brooke posing for the camera.These two make me laugh. Jonas is 9 months younger than Whitney but he just towers over her. We played Minute to Win it. Girls vs. Boys. The girls won!!! (that's how I remember it)

Maybe not....

I know for sure I beat Patrick! YEAH!We played a game where you started with a cookie on your forehead and had to move it into you mouth using only your face muscles. Great game to watch!

We went to the Oliverson's Christmas eve and had a great time!

Weston was really excited to open presents on his first Christmas! Brayden finally got a pillow pet. He had a melt down at least once a day 'want my pillow pet' Brayden was so excited to finally open the 'esens'
Whitney LOVES music. Grandma and Grandpa got her music instruments. Here Grandma and Whitney are jammin' outSanta brought Whitney a shopping cart. She loves it! She walks a little puts something in then walks a little more. Anyone who has ever played with Whitney knows in-and-out is her favorite thing to play! This is our beautiful picture of the Salt Lake Temple from my Parents. I love it

We didn't get a white Christmas at our house. Thank goodness we were at the Oliverson's. Here is the snow we got just after Christmas. If you look close you can see our pine tree popping out of the snow.

(the tree is only about 2 1/2 feet tall but it sound much better saying you can't see our tree ;))

What we've been up to...

We have been busy this last month and a half.

November 9th, Patrick had emergency surgery to remove his gallbladder. he spent 3 days in the hospital. His gallbladder was dead and his body was trying to fight the infection. The doctor told him to take 2-3 weeks to recover. So he spent the next 2 weeks home from work and stayed home with us.

We spent Thanksgiving in Idaho with the Bailey's. The kids had fun playing with the cousins and playing in the snow. They were able to make a tunnel under the snow and have a fort.

December 6th, I took Whitney to the doctor cuz she was acting sick and I didn't want her 4 weeks of ear infections to come back. Her appointment was at 9:45 and by 10:30 she was admitted into the hospital and working on getting an iv started. They were much better this time it only took 5 tries. (last time it took 16 pokes) We spent 4 days in the hospital with pneumonia. She was having a hard time keeping her oxygen levels up so they sent her home with oxygen, an o2 monitor, and a BBG (baby bugger grabber). Her she is with all her equipment ready for bed.

Here she is with her oxygen on. She hated it. They gave me sticky things to hold them in place but she just pulled them off so we used band aids!Here we are all ready for Christmas. We are all feeling better right now and are excited for Santa to visit our house.

Halloween and other stuff

Brayden is a very active 3 1/2 year old. He goes to school 3 days a week. The school bus picks him up at 8:30 and drops him off at 12:00. He really enjoys school. Whitney and Mommy love their quiet time. Brayden is so busy and when he starts to get bored he comes up with some crazy ideas.

A day in the life of Brayden:

Bug Whitney for awhile and make her do all the work. (She was laughing too)

He decided that he needed to wear Mommy's makeup. I guess this is how a boy wears mascara.

Whitney has lots of hair bows and flowers. Brayden wanted Daddy to wear them. Daddy didn't have enough hair on his head so a few had to go on his face. What a goofy kid.Whitter got a play kitchen for her birthday (THANKS AUNT JEN) She loves putting everything in the dishwasher and stove!

(Sorry for the naked kid. Brayden needed real water as a result his clothes were soaked) Of course Brayden has to play too. Whitney's favorite spot to sit in the box. This picture is for Jen. I know how much you love theses :) This is the 2nd one we have found in our yard. YUCK!

Halloween

Trick or Treating around Tremonton.

Woody was eyeing the candy already.

Brayden wanted to be Woody and Whitney was his horse. I guess he was a little ruff riding his horse and broke her leg.

We went to Rupert to trick or treat with the cousins. They had a treasure hunt.

This is Whitney's cast. They are trying to correct how she stands on her foot. Hopefully after her foot is flat she will be able to balance herself and walk.

She will wear this for 2 weeks then they will put another one on for 2 more weeks and depending on how that goes they will put another one on for 2 more weeks or that will be all.

She is a strong little girl. We will have to see how she does with this, so far she is okay with it but is starting to get annoyed.
