Finally Snow!

We finally got some snow. We had to go out and play before it melted.  We started making a snowman but we soon gave up....

 And ended up having a snow ball fight instead.

These are the creepy footprints that followed our entire neighborhood to each and every mailbox.  After a call to the police they found mail and packages in the empty lots around the neighborhood.  Thanks to the snow we were able to tell what someone is doing.  We now watch the mail carefully.

3 months comparison

Just for the fun of it, I pulled up pictures of the kids at 3 months.  Who does Hadley look like?

Hadley's blessing

Dec 9th 2012

We were finally able to bless Hadley.  We were going to bless her on Dec 2nd but Patrick got the week long flu bug and we didn't want to get everyone sick so we postponed it for the following week.

 My mom made her blessing dress using the same material from my wedding dress,  She looked beautiful.  Patrick's mom made her headband.

2 months

I can't believe my little girl is already 2 months old.  She is growing so fast.    She is sleeping 8 hours at night, and making me a happy mommy.  Brayden still loves to hold her and play with her.  Whitney like to play mommy.  Including changing her diaper, feeding her, and picking her up.  We can't leave them alone.  I'm never sure what Whitney will try next.
Hadley is now 11 lbs 10 oz and 27 inches.  She is in the 60% for both.  Haddie is smiling and loves someone to play with her.

 The birthday kids... We celebrated Patrick's and Whitney's birthday on Saturday night.  We had cake and ice cream and Whitney opened her presents.

 I tried to get a picture of Whitney opening her presents but every one turned out like this.  Anyone who knows Whitney understands this is a true picture of Whitney.  She opened one, say more, then run to the others.  I don't think she even looked at what was inside. 

Whitney's first day of School

Whitney started her 2nd year of preschool.  She loves going to school and loves to ride the bus.

I have to walk pretty fast to keep us with her as she skips to the bus.

Once on the bus she gives the bus driver and aid a hug everyday.

 

2 weeks old

I can't believe Hadley is already 2 weeks old.  It feels like she's been in our family forever. 

Hadley is a great eater and a pretty good little sleeper.  So far she is my best newborn sleeper.  (Sleeping about 4 hours between feeding)  Shes becoming more alert each day.

Brayden and Whitney are very excited to have their baby here. 

 

Brayden just wanted to hold her and touch her..... 

 

 Whitney came in, wanted the baby back in her bed, then she wanted to hold her.  She didn't last long holding her cuz she saw I had food.  So she sat next to me the rest of the time and ate my food. 

My parents took the kids up to Idaho so we had time to get to know our little Hadley.  She is very sweet and active.  She loves to snuggle and to be held close (I'm going to enjoy it while it last)

 

 After a few days in the hospital, we were all ready to head home to our own beds!  I woke up Saturday morning and realized I problem could have used another day of nurses help.

WOW!! look at that belly... good thing it was only a day before the baby was born!

Whitney and Brayden were giggling and I walked out to see what they were doing... There are about 50 more pictures like this... Brayden followed her around the house while she rode her bike.

Swimming Lessons.

This was Brayden's first year for swimming lessons. Mrs. Taluana was his teacher. She is incredible with the kids, especially Brayden.

Brayden's First day of Kindergarden

Brayden started school on August 28th.  He was still loving his summer break and didn't want to go back.  But when the day finally came he was excited and watched for the bus.  He is getting so big. 

This year, we let him pick out his own backpack.  He picked out a Lego starwars backpack and that was the only one he wanted.  He even made sure I got a picture of it.

This year Brayden has a bus stop at the end of the road.  He gets on the bus with the other pm kindergarners and gets off the bus with all the other kids in the neighborhood. 

 

 

Brayden's teacher is Mrs. Heath.  Brayden was very excited to meet her and get into class.  When I picked him up from the bus, he got in the car and told me 'it was the funnest day'.
