Schools out for Summer!!!!

Schools out for the summer now!! Patrick is excited, it was time for a break. Patrick has the week off, then its off on the road by at least 6 am to be to work on time. Because it being a holiday weekend, ATK has pushed back Patrick's start date until June 2. So now he gets to spend the week with us!! Nothing to exciting planned. Adam's coming down Monday for a BBQ and sometime we want to take Brayden to the zoo. He has really go into animals lately. Brayden is getting bigger and bigger everyday. And he comes up with new things to keep me laughing. After his nap today he was running a little fever, so I held him down to look for new teeth and sure enough, there is at least 1 molar coming in. It has half popped through, so hopefully the worse it over. He's been a good sport about his teeth.
Tuesday, Brayden spent the day with Grandma and Grandpa Oliverson at Great Grandma's while Patrick had surgery on his nose. Because of the process they use to remove the cancer, the doctor said to plan on 6-7 hours at the office. Thankfully, everything went better than planned and we weren't there that long. The appointment was at 9:15 it was about 10:30 before they even began. They took the tumor off and a thin layer of skin and sent us back out to wait for the biopsy results. (they said about 45 min -- really took about 2 hours) We were blessed and they were able to remove all the cancer the first time. Now Patrick just has a big hole in the side of his nose. The doctor thinks that because it wasn't to deep (it looks deep to us, but not the doctor) he will heal by itself and you won't be able to tell. If it doesn't heal right, they can go back and do a reconstructive to make it look better. He says it doesn't hurt. But sometimes I think he is just trying to be a tuff guy.
